Faithful In A Very Little

Matthew 25:21: His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Luke 19:17: And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

Jesus did not just say faithful in a little. He said faithful in a VERY little. If we think it through, nothing we ever do for the Lord is big or important. The most important thing about little things is that they can be the beginning of obeying the Lord.

Consider a perfectly balanced scale with 100 pounds on each side. An ounce would probably be enough to tilt the scale one way or the other. A few pounds of snow can start an avalanche that can cause tons of snow to slide down a mountainside. A small beginning can tilt an entire life into God*s will.

We should never think of anything done for the Lord as little. What we consider big things aren*t bigger than what we consider little things. The issue is obedience. There is no little obedience. It is always the same size to God. OBEDIENCE is the big thing.

Do something little for the Lord each day!
